About Ella
Little Wanders Dog Training was started by Ella with the aim of creating a support system for dog owners who are struggling to create the life they want to be living with their pet dog. Ella began training her own reactive and aggressive dog and quickly realised how isolating and confusing it can be when trying to do it alone. This is when she decided that to have the support system she desired, she would have to create one and Little Wanders Dog Training was born.
Ella now gives both in-person sessions in Hertfordshire and online training sessions from anywhere! Alongside her studies to become a clinical canine behaviourist, her aim is always the same; for owners and their dogs to have a life that feels smooth, connected and most of all, full of joy.
What I really want is for owners to finish their training with me with a huge sense of self-efficacy. It’s not about the dogs never ‘being naughty’ again in their lives, that is unrealistic. For me, I want my owners to feel like when their dog does make the wrong choice, that they know how to handle it.

My ethics in relation to dog training and behaviour modification go hand in hand with my morals. I do not use fear, bribery, force or harm. I give the dog the freedom to be a dog, a sentient being who makes mistakes, gets frustrated, feels fear but, above all else, can be given a life free from methods of training that rely on these principles, and choose to practice with an understanding of the effects of training methods at the forefront of my practice. I always endeavour to treat my clients and their humans with this as my guiding principle.
Morals are not just notions we live by, but actions we take every day.
