Hi, I’m Ella, a dog trainer who specialises in preventing and treating reactivity, aggression, puppy management, rescue dog rehabilitation, as well as life skills such as recall, games, loose lead walking and basic obedience.

My aim is to help be the support system you need so that you can be the support system your dog needs. I work closely with owners of many different breeds to help them achieve the life they dreamt of when they first got a dog and move forward in their journey of dog guardianship. Having a dog should be fun, and I endeavour to make that the case for all of my clients.

I offer both online sessions and in-person training in the Hertfordshire area, as well as dog walking for reactive dogs.

    I have worked with Rodney for over 2 years now and have had a blast teaching him out to become a 'big dog'. A high drive, toy-loving cockapoo, he's always look to out-smart you, so I've had to be on my toes.

    I began working with Charlie when her owners saw me handling another dog in the park and asked if we could set up a session. A week later, we began working and 3 months later Charlie was off lead, playing with other dogs and having no reactions. Go Charlie!

    Maeve is a dog I have worked with for the past 5 years, and I met her when she was only a few days old. After being attacked, Maeve struggled a lot with reactivity. With her owner, we have been able to set her up for success during those moments she feels most scared.

    The dog that captured my heart from day one. From hiding under the dining room table from me to joining me out on our amazing, weekly adventures, I have never seen a dog come more out of her shell than Willow. A truly magical transformation.

My ethics in relation to dog training and behaviourism go hand in hand with my morals. I do not use fear, bribery, force or harm. I give the dog the freedom to be a dog, a sentient being who makes mistakes, gets frustrated, feels fear but, above all else, can be given a life free of these things with kindness at the forefront of my practice. I always endeavour to treat my clients and their humans with this as my guiding principle.

Morals are not just notions we live by, but actions we take every day.
